Welcome to my newsletter, prude posting!

I am a detransitioned woman in my 20s, and you can read all about that here. I’m most interested in writing about the youth gender identity phenomenon, the closely related social justice ideology, and emotional as well as physical well-being. Here you will find my reflections on the gender identity and social justice movements as someone who was once a staunch supporter of both, issues affecting young people more broadly, my thoughts for parents on how to navigate unique modern parenting challenges as well as timeless ones (especially with a trans-identifying teenager), criticisms of the mental health and medical industries, and more!

Subscribe for $7 per month to read exclusive articles from me about topics ranging from gender issues, political and social issues, health and mental health. Subscribers can also send me questions or topic suggestions which I may expand on in a full post. More information about this feature and tips for asking questions will be included in the welcome email received after a monthly or yearly subscription. Free subscribers will get access to occasional public posts and potentially posts that were originally paid-subscriber-only, but I decide are worth making public.

The name is a tongue-in-cheek reference to how those of us who are concerned about popular ideas regarding gender, sexuality, and other cultural issues are often called “prude”. I’m reclaiming it!
