Since [our daughter] told us she was non-binary, she has binding and been dressing very goth-like (all black, boots, oversized mens shirts, spikes). She recently asked us to purchase her new clothes she found online. They were all very feminine: sundresses, skirts, lots of pink and white check, ruffles, halter tops, and crop tops. I made a comment about how the clothes were very different from what she had been wearing and she stated that now that she is taking testosterone she has the confidence to wear clothing like that. So now she is walking around with frilly feminine clothing with a flat chest from binding. It almost seems like she wants to look like a male but in women’s clothing. Do you have any insight into this? Is this a style trend among some ROGD cohorts?
