Helena, I have a 14 year old ftm daughter who came out to her father and I 4 months ago. When this happened, her father's response was initially stoic and my response was one of acceptance. Since then we have both done our research and believe that all of the types of influences that are typical for an ROGD child were at play here. We understand our child has been suffering believing this for 1.5 to 2 years.
